Interview conducted by Adam Holt
I have recently caught up with European Cup winner and Aston Villa legend Nigel Spink to discuss his career as a professional footballer. Spink played for a variety of clubs, but is most famous for playing in the place of the injured Jimmy Rimmer in the 1982 European Cup Final win over Bayern Munich. We talked about this, as well as a variety of other topics in this very insightful Q&A.
Clubs: Chelmsford City (1976 - 1977), Aston Villa (1977 - 1996), West Bromwich Albion (1996 - 1997), Milwall (1997 - 2000) & Forest Green Rovers (Player: 2000 - 2001; Manager 2000 - 2002).
